My heart hurts.
The home I always thought I’d someday go back to is no more.
No more waking up to the smell of cinnamon tea.
No more walking through those oh so cold hallways that seemed to go on forever.
No more showing up unannounced once every 2 or 3 yrs knowing someone would be there & they’d have a room ready for you.
No more. Ever. That’s an odd feeling.
